Earn on Startale App now takes USDC

Startale App introduces two new Earn vaults today, expanding the assets you can put to work directly from the App. Earn now supports USDC alongside USDSC and ETH, with more to come.

Both vaults lend your USDC to borrowers and pay you interest.

Gauntlet USDC Prime vault

Gauntlet USDC Prime vault is curated by Gauntlet, powered by Morpho. Your USDC is lent to borrowers who post major crypto assets as collateral. Borrowers post more than they borrow while you earn the interest they pay.

Flowmark fGenesis USDC vault

Flowmark fGenesis USDC vault is curated by Flowmark, powered by Morpho. Your USDC is currently lent to borrowers who post PGNGI+ as collateral. PGNGI+ is tokenized by Asseto and linked to the Partners Group Next Generation Infrastructure strategy. Asseto brings the real-world asset onchain, Flowmark sets the risk parameters, and you earn the interest borrowers pay.

How to deposit into the USDC vaults

Both vaults are on the Ethereum network and accept deposits from your Startale Smart Wallet only. External wallets such as MetaMask cannot deposit into them. Earnings compound automatically and are added to your position, so your earnings start earning too. There's no need to claim or manually redeposit.

Fees and withdrawals

There are no deposit fees on either vault. On the Gauntlet USDC Prime vault, Startale takes a small share of what you earn, never of your deposit. The Flowmark fGenesis vault has no withdrawal fee. Full details on deposits, withdrawals, earnings and fees for each Earn vault are in the FAQ.

There is no lock-up period, and withdrawals are usually instant. When the vault is fully lent, you can withdraw what’s available instantly and the rest once borrowers repay or new deposits come in. Your position keeps earning while you wait, and this mainly affects very large withdrawals.

How these differ from the USDSC vault

All three vaults earn on stablecoins. The USDSC vault pays you the interest from the short-term US Treasury bills that back USDSC, on Soneium, with instant withdrawals and no Startale fee. The two USDC vaults on Ethereum earn from onchain lending, and withdrawals depend on how much of the vault is lent at that moment.
